Welcome to our Website!

Please allow us introduce you to our organization.

United Freedom Riders  is a State Motorcyclists Rights Organization....

We are now over 90 members strong,  growing and are a self-supporting non-profit organization. Our officers or members are not paid.  United Freedom Riders  is comprised of individuals who are dedicated to insuring personal liberties in the State of Oregon through participation in our local legislature and membership. Our passion is riding, so we are dedicated in maintaining the lifestyle of motorcycling, while working legislatively to promote motorcycle awareness and road safety, regaining lost liberties, and basically protecting our rights and freedoms as American citizens.

Not only do we keep an eye on Legislative concerns as an SMRO, but there are a lot of other issues in the community that we are involved in as well. Charities are one of  the main objectives that we focus on, and as an organization, contribute greatly to. We are a main " contributor" to the annual  " Little Help for our Friends" benefit in December, held at the Linn County Fairgrounds. This benefit is for the needy families in and around our community. We help to set up, decorate, collect clothing, food, donations, toys and other items to help make their holidays just a little better. We are proud to say our members are working with others to make sure this event is successful every year.

UFR organizes the annual  "Safe-Haven Run" every October. Our members donate money, kitty litter, cat and dog food, cleaning items, blankets etc., to help out our animal friends and the volunteers at Safe-Haven.

We are honored to be included in collecting stuffed animals and toys for delivery to the emergency room at Albany General Hospital for children who are there during the holidays. We also built a trailer for a woman in a motorized wheel chair who worked at the hospital and had no feasible way to get medicine or groceries home. Another project we enjoy is putting on "Benefit Rides" for those in need. Last year, for instance, we contributed to a local couple that needed help with their medical expenses after being in a serious accident.

As you can see, we as an organization, are not just concerned about riding
motorcycles. We count our blessings for what we do have, share
and rally around those in need who can use a helping hand in our community, and stay actively involved with the legislative issues concerening motorcycling laws and issues.
